Skipping forward to the 1950s, greasers were a huge fan of leather, which became a representation of teenage rebellion. Dark-Wash Denim
Denim originates from 19th century America, where the first pair manufactured was by a tailor called Jacob Davis. He then partnered with Levis Strauss & Co., making that the first company to mass produce denim pants. Today, denim is fully integrated into our fashion trends, and are now worn almost daily. Dark-wash denim is considered the more expensive and luxurious of all jeans, because of the amount of dye that goes into their production.
