These red-striped leggings were a huge trend last year, and continue to be this Fall season. They bring an athletic vibe to the whole outfit, and can easily be dressed up or dressed down. I decided to keep my overall outfit in the shades of black, white, and grey, so as to bring more emphasis on the only colour: red.
Moreover, lately I have been loving men’s white tees. They are super comfortable and tend to be cheaper than women’s tee. To style it more femininely, I tied a knot to remove some of the bulkiness and looseness of the shirt. Alternatively, you could do a front tuck to achieve the same result. This helps to cinch and define the waist, especially for a look like this one, in which the blazer is more oversized. Similarly to the shirt, I rolled the sleeves of the blazer to make it fit in a more flattering manner. I find when styling over-sized clothing, you want to tighten some part of it, so that the looseness and bulkiness looks intentional. Otherwise, if the garment is left alone, it just looks like you are wearing the wrong-sized clothing.
Hope you enjoyed this post and some of these styling tips! Have a lovely week!
